"You say that like it's a Bad Thing"
All I want is for someone to be able to look me square in the eye and give me a straight answer; to deal with things for what they are. Don't 'consider' my feelings or tell me a story about how it's "more than that" or "no, but" anything because you're not strong enough to look at it honestly or you think that I can't understand the greater implications of "yes" or "no" and might misjudge you. Have some confidence in the strength of your own existence, for chri'sakes!
And whatever you do, do not whine about shit you do not want to fix, because I will sort it out and tell you about it. If you're feeling down about how life is out of control or "you'll get even with them for that" and you find it somehow satisfying to share that with me, you will not find the compassion (commiseration) and understanding (ignorance) you are seeking. You will, however, find out about concepts like self-sabotage and how we are each individually responsible for everything we experience, one way or another, and maybe even a brief explication of my belief that the worst kind of laziness is a superficial mind, depending on how much you may or may not choose to contribute to the resolution of the original topic that you first brought to bear.
Does this make me a Heartless Bitch? Perhaps.
But… why should critical thinking be deemed the bastion of Heartless Bitches? After all, life is more enjoyable without embellishing it with contrived bullshit or perpetually transfiguring illusions to achieve some sort of false sense of accomplishment in pursuit of an ideal that… well… really isn't even an ideal at all. Is it Heartless to Bitch about the vacuous shit you continue to juggle in front of your proverbial fan, or just sit back and act surprised when it "hits"?
Well, if not being willing to ignore the obvious truth of the matter makes me a Heartless Bitch, then so be it. You'll get over it.
