I quit my last job because my "boss" demoted me because "he understood
that now that I was a MOM I may no longer have the time and energy to
put into my job." Within 2 days, I several job offers for better pay and
left. I didn't sue for discrimination because that seems like such a
weak, whiney way to try and solve my problems--running to the
“authorities” to force them to treat me better. Besides, it was more fun
to move to a company where I was suddenly my ex-bosses employer and
watch him squirm and almost loose his job because he sucked so much at
it without me there to do his work for him.
I'm a loving wife and mother with a career doing what I want to do. I
hate weak women that bitch and moan that the world is holding them back.
If you want to succeed, you have to get out there and succeed--rely on
rules and regs to get you ahead and you'll always be looking for a
helping hand to get ahead.
I rock climb, mountaineer, write poetry, and am ranked 11th in CA disc
golf rankings. I read sci-fi and study epidemiology in my spare
time--and quite like to be identified as a geek.
