I have a child, a job, a car and an apartment that I own. I earn enough money to create a comfortable life for my daughter, and myself and I don't need anybody's help to make my life work. I don't expect standing ovations for this, nor will I give standing ovations to anyone else who is doing the same thing. I am strong-willed and determined, and if I want something I usually get it. This does not mean that I am ruthless or aggressive, merely that I am capable of managing my own life and using my head for other things than just to keep my hat on. I have no time for people who whine about their lives and how they are always the unlucky ones, without trying to find out what they can actually do themselves to change the situation.
