I may not have such a kick ass way of expressing myself as some of you
guys but I live my life according to my own rules -- understanding that
I cannot be responsible for other people's perceptions. I do not need a
man on my arm in order to live, but I enjoy sharing my life with people
that have respect, are honest and not afraid to discuss and debate, to
agree to disagree and just be who they are without justification. People
who think this board is about justifying who they are, are missing the
point. Generally I find so many people don't get that life is not about
proving yourself to others...certainly when it comes to relationships
there just seems too few men that get it - that can think for themselves
without having to be manipulated, played with and seduced. It drives me
crazy to watch the relationship traumas of so many people wrapped up in
their little games and I can't decide whether it's more disappointing
watching women sell themselves so short to get a man or the men falling
for it so easily.
I'm not looking for a man and that apparently makes me a bitch. I'd be
happy to share my life with someone who has a life to share with me.
