Lisa
I decide what I want and I do it. I don't hang out with people who try to make me feel bad for it. I'm honest about who I am and what I think. I respect myself, and I respect the men I date because I date men who are smart, considerate grown-ups who have as much to offer as I do.
I respect women who stand on their own feet and call their own shots. I really respect women who use the intellect and the common sense the universe gave them to make decisions that are good for them.
The heartless part of being a Heartless Bitch is not feeling sorry for people whose real agenda is to make you feel like shit for being smart, being happy, acting autonomously, and doing what you like. Especially when they try to dress it up as "love." If people put pressure on you to do something that's bad for you, because it's good for them, it's not bitchy to look them in the eye, laugh, and ask "Are you on DRUGS?" They (and women do it as often as men) might call you a bitch for it... like you're really going to start caring what they think NOW.
A Heartless Bitch doesn't have to repeat herself, raise her voice, cry, or put anyone down to be her own advocate and stand her ground. She never gives up who she is for anyone or anything, because she doesn't have to.
That's what I think, that's how I am, and I like it just fine.
Yes! I want to read more from Real Life Heartless Bitches
