I do not tolerate excuses. Not from men, "I have the right to act like a jerk and blame others for my problems because I have a penis." Not from women, "I have the right to act like a jerk and blame others for my problems because I have a vagina." And I absolutely do not tolerate excuses from myself.
If I do something wrong, I admit it and fix it. I do not whine about it and hope that if I just look cute enough the magical fix it fairy will come along and make everything ok.
I also do not believe in "self esteem", or have any sympathy for those who claim they have none. This particular opinion has caused me to be labeled a heartless bitch on more than one occasion.
"Low self esteem" is merely a selfish excuse to not living up to your potential. We need to get rid of that label and get back to the simplicity of pride in a job well done.
