Ignorance is the number one mindkiller. I cannot stand people who wallow
in ignorance even if the truth slaps them in the face repeatedly with a
cold steel hammer. I have spent many years educating myself as to the
origins of many societal problems, and very few people tend to like the
results when I present them to them. Instead, they are totally happy
accepting the force-fed bullshit they've known all their life and have
blindly accepted as "truth." In addition, I am often insulted (read:
attempted insults) due to my obvious openness about sexuality, but
regardless, I refuse to change who I am to please an archaic
social/religious dogma.
Many people say I'm often more female than male because nothing prevents
me from being sensitive. Unfortunately, it's that ignorance again that
irritates me...I guess these people believe that a man cannot be
sensitive and strong at the same time? To show sensitivity is a sign of
weakness, and therefore female?
