I'm assertive, and I firmly believe in "lead, follow, or get out of my
way." That's how I end being in charge a lot. As far as I'm concerned,
why not -- I'm capable and competent. Shouldn't be such a rare pair of
abilities, as it seems to be, lately.
I'm tired of the double standard of what's strong in a man is bitchy in
a woman. Nuts to that. I'm not superior to anyone, but damned if I'll
accept being anything less than an equal.
I dislike that so many people can't seem to function without always
having their hands held. I won't mindlessly shower people with approval,
and I can't stand for people getting mad if I politely disagree with an
inane and uninformed point of view. I may be wrong, but until you give
me some good, logical reasons for why I ought to change my opinion, I'll
consider myself right. It shouldn't be this hard, people. Seriously.
