I will not compromise my expectations. If loving and respecting myself
and refusing to compromise my standards and basic tenets means being a
Heartless Bitch, then I will proudly don the title. I was born (pardon
the cliché) with a head on my shoulders, and I intend to use it to its
fullest extent. I expect the same from those I associate with,
regardless of gender. I do not tolerate ignorance or disrespect. I do
not waste my time on people who are willing to waste their lives. I
exercise, defend, and do not abuse my rights to equality across genders.
I recognize independence and intelligence in all people as beauty and
keep company only with the most beautiful people I find, according to
those standards. I am strong. I have earned everything I have, not with
miniskirts and push-up bras, but with wit, knowledge, and persistence. I
don't wait for change--I make it.
