Being 17, and only graduating at the end of this year, I still have to deal with all of the stereotypical bullshit of high school. That, however, is not one of my qualities, because we *all* go through those years. What pisses me off is how I get the most astounded looks from a variety of people when I tell them what classes I'm taking, and passing with flying colors. The 'football jocks' who are in most of my classes, the sciences and maths, are nice, smart guys who are also intelligent, so, sure, no stereotype there. So why should I get "Wow, you're *smart*!", like it's such a big deal that I can have the same, if not *higher* level of achievement? As for men, I love 'em to pieces, as long as they're *genuine* people. There are very few things that infuriate me more than fakes. Whether its women who play dumb and weak to "catch" a man, or men who use lines and *lies* to get into a woman's pants; it just makes me want to puke. Fakes, human carpets, and people who don't have enough sense or ambition to live up to their potential are all on my list of Must-Not-Destroy, not to mention a stack of other little peeves. I, however, am not here to bitch about my life, nor can I stand it when other people bitch without doing anything about it. I'm here because I respect people who have strong opinions, and don't sugar-coat them to avoid conflict. I don't blame others for my problems in life, and I don't sit around and whine about them. You know what they say, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. So, I do.
