I am a Heartless Bitch because, quite simply, I do not put up with shit.
I refuse to associate with whiners, manipulators, abusers, and (of their
own volition) constant victims. When asked, I will always dispense
no-bullshit advice as tactfully but as truthfully as I can. However,
this does not mean I am rude to people. I know that it's possible to
deal with ignorant people without resorting to ignorance yourself nor
being completely uncivil.
I refuse to be what society wants me to be. I am who I am, and that is
someone who can handle herself without YOUR help, thankyouverymuch. I
will not follow other people's plans for MY life. I don't need anybody's
validation that I am smart, funny, ambitious, (insert "happy" adjective)
to feel good about myself. I'm not going to sit and be quiet during
discussions where I don't agree with the majority and I'm not going to
pretend to be anything less than what I am. If my intelligence and logic
scares you off, that's less crap I have to deal with.
I loathe people who make judgments about things with which they have
ZERO experience. This includes women who have dated nothing but jerks
their whole lives and now hate ALL men because of THEIR choices. Vice
versa for men. How on Earth can you judge a whole gender based on your
few experiences? It's moronic. Ditto for inbred rednecks who hate
minorities, but have yet to ever meet an African American individual
(growing up in the country showed me that yes, they DO exist).
I am realistic -- I know that I am not the smartest, the best, or the
brightest, but am always willing to learn from others. It's great to be
able to look at things from other people's point of view, if only to
laugh at people from a whole new perspective.
