Maire
People see me as a lone and miserable single woman. I don't have many
friends, and I don't dote on many men. I've been told that I should "put
myself out there." Putting myself out there? That's like fishing for
salmon in a cesspool. The reason for my "loneliness" is simple: I don't
have the time or patience to listen to or deal with the thoughtless shit
that spews forth from, what seems like, everyone around me. Both men and
women I usually encounter during my days are dull and ignorant, not
knowing what the hell they are doing with their lives (except to make
money and look good, of course). Those who think for themselves and live
their life with thought and respect are living examples of the part of
society that is worth my time. For that, I'll gladly join the ranks of
the Heartless Bitches.
