I have been described as a bitch since grade school. It was first spoken by the boys who were on the receiving end of a kick from my oxfords for trying to touch my ass. There hasn't been a person in my sphere of influence who hasn't called me that -- be it in admiration or condemnation. I don't care either way -- as long as it means "handle with care." I am described as an aloof, opinionated bitch. I don't have a problem with that. I think for myself, make decisions that are sound for me -- no one else has to understand. I am a bitch for refusing to put up with bull (from men, family or work), and not saying "Poor you" when others have stamped doormat on their foreheads. There is a huge difference between a victim and a clueless masochist. I have ended a friendship because she went back to an abusive husband -- I won't waste my time. It's my life -- there are no reruns or do-overs. When I end something, it stays ended. If you ask for my opinion, you will get it -- unfiltered, uncensored but it will be the truth. Don't ask if you can't handle it.
