I've finally decided to take responsibility for my *own* life, and *only* my own life. I've had bad relationships before (who hasn't?), but I'll be buggered if I'm going to let that define me.

I really don't give a fuck whom I offend with my opinions.

I actually have some respect for the guys I know who *realize* that they couldn't get a girlfriend to save their lives, and deal with it, as opposed to those who just piss and moan about how they need to get laid.

I may just kill the next homophobic loser who mouths off about the one or two guys at school who aren't "superstraight," or I may regain my sense of humour and realize the loudest ones are probably self-loathing closet-cases anyway.

I actually (oh my God!) enjoy spending some time *away* from my significant other, when I happen to be in a relationship. And I hope to God he or she does as well, or it'll be a damn short relationship.

I've got enough perspective not to think that everybody on Earth should fall at my feet in adulation, whether or not I find them intriguing or attractive in any way.

I'm going to improve myself, dammit, by any means necessary. Contentment is for slugs.
