I'm a Heartless Bitch because I refuse to succumb to the lowest common denominator. I do not let people get away with bullshit, with taking advantage of others, or with their own self-involved whining and selfishness.

I was brought up to tell-it-like-it-is, and as an adult, I am known for my "brutal sense of honesty." I'm a firm believer in being honest, even if that means hurting someone's feelings as opposed to coming up with a little white lie that protects the status quo. If I see something I think is stupid, unfair or immoral, I let people know about it... *and* expect them to do something about it.

This has not always gone over well with the people in my life, and has lost me a few "friends" along the way (got me fired a couple of times as well), but even if it means that some people do think of me as a Bitch (and I'm proud to be one), I know I'm being true to myself and my own sense of ethics.
