I am a Heartless Bitch because I can think for myself. I know the difference between my brain and my ovaries, and I rarely use the later for decision making. I refuse to be told what I should look like by a "fashion" Magazine, nor what I should think by the latest, literal, cause celebrity. Gena Davis does not tell me for whom to vote.

I am a Heartless Bitch because I do not coo at every newborn, be it human, cat, dog or lemur. While I don't weep at "Chick Flicks" I did bawl my eyes out at the end of "The Fugitive" (With Harrison Ford) as he replied to the fact that he was finally exonerated, "He killed my wife." THAT is true love.

I am a Heartless Bitch because I have values that I do not compromise because someone is my friend or relative, and because I expect those same friends and relatives to accept the consequences for their actions. Most people who know me for 10 minutes can tell what I believe is right and wrong, usually because I tell them. I speak my mind and, while I try not to be rude, I am often called just that. Not for expressing my opinions, but simply for having them.

What I feel and know about the world and my place in it is unfashionable, and therefore wrong. Yet I persevere, flagrantly so, and this makes me a Heartless Bitch.
