It's hard to say what hasn't already been said on this page. It is a fantastic site. I have never understood women who feel that they must be with a man to feel complete, even if they are utterly miserable with their man. I love men, but feel that I have a right to be picky, and will remain happily single until someone comes along who I can be "happily attached" to. I hate whiners as well. I have made plenty of mistakes in my life, but I take responsibility for my mistakes and work hard to make things better. I learned a long time ago that nobody can make it all better for you and I am always happier doing it myself, whether I succeed or fail. This way I accept my failures and find a way to turn it into a success, and I revel in my successes. I am quick to rid myself of people who I perceive as leeches or downers. I will never allow somebody to drag me down with them and I will not allow someone to force me to take on their problems and make them mine. I don't whine to people about my problems, and I don't appreciate people doing it to me. It is true that we are all responsible for what happens to us in life 90% of the time, but the idea is that we are supposed to learn from our mistakes and do it better the next time, not to continue to make the same mistake every time.
