I grew up as a "Paqui" in Canada (because of my nice toasted color, big scary round lips and terrifying black hair, the problem is that I'm Chilean, you ignorants). I came back to Chile as a little young punk, fought against Pinochet and narrow-minded, opportunistic, totalitarian communists (even my mom, the first one to call me a bitch). When I got to the University, I proved to be much smarter than all those male students which had to say I used and sold drugs to get me out of their way, and which, of course, I didn't even think about dating. Believe me, I didn't have too much trouble in getting such a title, I have always been called a bitch.

What I mean is that this world leaves you little options. Well, I chose to take control of my life, to raise my little girl on my own, to work and move through life in a more assertive way, to evolve with each day, spreading the word, despite the oppressive environment that surrounds us. I try to make my point and change things in the measure I can.

I would like to add that my Chilean friend (a Heartless Bitch member) and I are trying to develop a Spanish site to create awareness in our country about how totalitarian it is despite the dictatorship is over, and we enjoy sharing our views on your site. It's inspirational!
