I don't see myself as a Heartless Bitch as much as a thinking human being, a seeming rarity in the world. I can't handle stupid people, and I usually clue them to this the moment something absurd (like all "towelheads" deserve to be shot; or if I'm asked if I swallowed a dictionary when I use the word morbid). I was called "too abrasive" because I won't let a guy walk all over me and come running back for more. A good novel and a glass of wine is much more preferable than any sort of emotional trauma that certain (no, not all) psychotic partners can inflict.

I hate women whose behaviour comes straight out of women's magazines (17 Lipstick Shades to Find Your Perfect Man) since it continues the myth that women have to kowtow to anyone's whims.

I refuse to doll myself up to do my food shopping (if men can walk around in torn t-shirts and jeans, why is it unacceptable if women do it??); I learned early on that I want to date someone who wants to talk to me about politics and literature as well as go out clubbing.

I'm a Heartless Bitch because I won't change my life path over someone else's whims.
