Kay
I am sick of seeing women who think that the only way to survive in life
is to bow down to a man and happily wash his race-striped underwear,
after working 16-18 hours a day at a minimum wage job just to put food
on the table, because her husband's stupid ass is too lazy to turn
wrestling off and get a job, while he sits in his lazy-boy recliner, she
rents from the local rent-to-own store, where he used to work until he
married her and realized that she was younger than him and more able to
work those long hours.
This is usually associated with the children who are in daycare all
those hours, because their father (notice I didn't say daddy) can't
handle being alone with the children for that long, and the husband's
best buddy needing a place to crash for a couple weeks because his wife
finally got tired of being treated like a worthless piece of ass and
burned all his belongings in the front yard while she changed the locks
on the front and back door, this of-course after she enrolled in college
and got her first taste of a Women's Studies course. I hate that the
easiest way for a woman to get an education is to have a child and
finally be able to receive financial aid. If I sound a little bitter,
and a little familiar with the situation I just described, it is because
I am. The working-mom with the bum for a husband was my best friend.
Though I am not the wife of the "best friend," I am finally going to
college after several years of raising a child. What finally made me see
the inequalities of the sexes? A Woman's Studies course. What I read and
what I heard blew me away. The Prof. was a genius at helping the
students realize how unfair things are.
