Let's see - I don't cook, I take no interest in babies, I expect my considered opinions to be as valued as anyone else's, I wear what I want, and I don't feel guilty about any of the aforementioned.

I thrive on intelligent conversation and don't much care where it comes from, as long as the people around me maintain adequate hygiene.

I have never understood how being smart could possibly be wrong; nor have I ever believed that someone's uninformed opinion should matter just because of gender, age, or position.

Stereotypes leave me cold. Why can't I be an opinionated, loyal, funky, straightforward, loving, rational, scientific, open-minded, succulent, sensible hedonist all at the same time?

I hold that if one is capable of understanding cause and effect, stupidity should reap its just deserts. In fact, a "stupidity tax" could do wonders for the world economy, instead of all these ridiculous lawsuits where people are actually REWARDED for being idiots ("nobody told me not to stick the ladder up my ass"). We'll never evolve if we let these people breed.

I respect demonstrable competence - I have no time for people who sit around doing nothing, talking about what they've done years ago, or what they'll do "someday." Get on with it already!
