I am a Heartless Bitch because I am able to look at my mistakes and LEARN from them, instead of using them as a weak excuse to not try again. I know that I am not immune to stupidity, but I certainly don't wallow in it, nor do I use it as some sort of shield.

I am a Heartless Bitch because when my mother tells me I should really pencil in my eyebrows (because you'd be so beautiful, dear) I remind her that I already AM beautiful, thank you. And no, I don't go pencil them in afterwards!

I am a Heartless Bitch because I refuse to see people in terms of gender. Just because you are male does not mean you are necessarily stronger, physically or (more importantly) mentally. Just because you are female does not mean that you are "nicer" or "sweeter" or more emotional. It just doesn't work that way, folks.

And finally, I am a Heartless Bitch because I know that I am responsible for myself and expect that same recognition in others. I don't blame the world because I fucked up and neither do I go around trying to fish people out of their messes. If it's your mistake, then you have to fix it. It's quite simple, actually, but the amount of people who don't understand it is maddening.
