Anita
I possess common sense, which I use most of the time. I am a tall, strong, beautiful woman. I am intelligent. This package tends to frighten and intimidate men as well as women.
I deal with the fallout (and proof) from this in all areas of my life: family (foster care as a child, resentment of my success from bio family as an adult), professional competition, come-ons from males despite the fact that I'm married, and even resentment from my spouse because I'm better at business and intellectual pursuits than he is.
I love with my whole heart, but I won't tolerate fools. I demand that people produce--that individuals work for themselves. The fact that a significant segment of society has grown to love sucking on the teat of government sickens me.
My personal moral code is strict; however, I do not have the narrow-mindedness that would require you or yours to adhere to it. I firmly believe in the true separation of church and state. Don't like something? Go find the law about it. Don't like the law? Lobby to change it. In the meantime, deal with it.
I don't hate men. Or women. Go have sex with whomever you please. Just mind the exposure laws or have the money to pay your bail.
Stupidity does piss me off. Repeating one's errors and expecting a different result really drives me insane.
Are you in a situation where you don't understand something? Go research it. Or hire a teacher. Go to the library. Don't sit there and WHINE about it. Whiners should be shot.
I believe that everyone on this planet makes choices every day that hurt him/her the least amount. In other words, one makes the choice that gives one the most or hurts the least. Every single time. Most of us don't realize this. Whether you are a parent or a CEO, every decision you make is based on this.
Every time I voice this opinion, I'm called cold, calculating -- or a bitch. It doesn't make it any less true.
I've discovered that when one is powerful, loving, secure, intelligent, attractive, and interested in keeping an open mind, those who are none of those things -- or only some of those things -- are too frightened to deal. That's where the "Bitch" and other name-calling comes from.
This is what works for me. If you aren't in agreement, then I truly do not belong here. That would be all right with me as well.
Yes! I want to read more from Real Life Heartless Bitches
