I am a Heartless Bitch because I am not blind to injustices and
cruelties around me. I do not stand idly by, cosmopolitan in hand and
lips glossed out-to-here, as some asshole disrespects me and mine. By
"mine," of course, I mean every open-minded, big-hearted soul on the
planet. Therefore, not standing idly by keeps me pretty busy.
I believe in the DIY mentality, and I enjoy spreading knowledge and
general sassiness through creative projects like buttons, paintings,
shirts, et cetera. Getting people to do "crafts" with me helps me show
them what their own two hands can do, even if we're just making
coasters. I feel it is important to let people know that they are in
charge of their own damn lives, and not a tool to be used by someone
stronger or more dominating (unless, of course, that's what turns them
on). It makes me sad and angry to know that there are women out there
who do not know their self-worth, who are afraid to speak their minds,
and who have never had an orgasm. With my invisible crowbar of love (and
science!), I try to pry open the minds of both the domineering assholes,
and the weak-willed mice that I meet. In the process I have made a lot
of friends, as well as a few "enemies," but I am happy just as long as I
make people think.
I am small in size (read: short), but big in ideas and opinions. In the
words of Sleater-Kinney, "watch me make up my mind instead of my face."
My favorite things are learning, dancing, and loving myself (take that
any way you want). I hope you can find room for me on your roster
because I enjoy meeting strong-willed women like myself, with whom I can
discuss how to make the perfect omelet, and save the world.
