I make my own decisions in life, take control of my destiny and take every step to protect myself from cruelty, misogyny, and ignorance.

In my life I have managed to overcome many obstacles. Most of which I created for myself: drug addiction, incarceration, being a jr. high school drop out, and failed relationships. I truly thought that everything that was wrong in my life was "Someone Else's Fault." I realized that after a certain point that I could not blame anyone else for my actions but myself. I had a choice: continue live a miserable life riddled with guilt and blame OR try to succeed by any means available.

I am proud to say that I am a college graduate (as of this past May) with a wonderful career, a healthy, stable relationship and the self-esteem to be able to look anyone in the eye and say, "This is me. You do not have to like me, but you WILL respect me and hear my voice."

Whether I am accepted or not, thank you for your time and consideration, as well as the stimulating and interesting website.
