Dundee
Two words: personal responsibility. There's nothing more worthless than a person who constantly searches for some scapegoat upon which to pile their faults, problems or sorry circumstances. I cannot stand anything that whines without doing anything about the problem, be it man, woman, child, puppy. It gets old meeting people who think having lived through a lot of crap gives them license to unload all said crap into other people's laps--like mine. I'd hate myself if I ran around telling all my sob stories to everyone ('cause we've all got 'em), and I sure as hell don't wanna hear it from someone else! There are basically two resultant options following every situation: A-- Whine. B-- Learn. I've found that being in control of yourself and not worrying about the rest lets you kick back and enjoy things for what they are. You're not focused on everything simply in relation to yourself...you're the universe dreaming of a local event, not vice versa. I detest people who think they need anything beyond their own control to survive (i.e., a cocky boyfriend, a self-absorbed princess of a girlfriend, etc.). To all the mindless, self-centered people of this planet: The world does not revolve around you unless you're a flaming glob of gas! Some people can't take my attitude. She's too collected; she must be cold. She's too loud; she must have something to prove. She's got a good job; she's either pushy or sleeping with someone. She doesn't care about all my petty shit; she must be a bitch. Damn right I am.
