I believe that rights are predicated on responsibility, and that if you cannot, will not, or do not prove you can handle the responsibility, you may not exercise that "right." This includes the right to drive, the right to make a good living, and the right to bear and raise children.
I believe that most of the world's problems are caused by stupid humans, not objects. The existence of guns does not cause violence; the existence of drugs does not cause death; the existence of television advertising does not cause overspending.
I believe that behavior that is unforgivably rude in an adult is not cute in a child.
I believe it is unconscionable to restrict adults from any activity simply because it is unsuitable for a child. I believe that attempting to childproof the world so that the little darlings cannot hurt themselves is misguided, shortsighted, and stupid.
I am not here to teach you how to read, learn, or think. I will, on occasion, direct you to where you can find a clue, but from there on it is your responsibility. It's not my fault if your ignorance embarrasses you. Either take your own education seriously, or stop wasting my time. By the way, I no longer provide free tech support, not even to my mother.
I also don't exist to validate your own misery. If you have a problem that is looking for a solution, I'm your girl, but I don't provide ((((((((((HUGS!!!!!!)))))))))).
I believe that typing without using capital letters, and/or using "cre8tive" spellings is not an expression of individuality (how can it be when everyone else does it too?). Rather, it means that either you're stupid or you just don't give a shit.
Don't tell me that I'm a victim just because I'm female. I don't feel like a victim. I don't want to be a victim. Now that I know I'm a victim, what am I supposed to do about it? Get mad? Get even? Go home and cry on that cat? I've done all of that, and all I got out of it was a soggy cat. So screw it; I've decided I'm going to live my life the best I can despite the fact that the world is unfair, and if my happiness offends you, go be a victim somewhere else.
"No" means "No", but you have to say it first. It's not rape just because he's uglier in the morning when you're sober.
