As a woman from a country where FGM is still widely practiced, where women are
expected to become housewives after high school and where their highest
achievement in life is pleasing their husband, I believe being a Heartless
Bitch has helped me become more independent and more confident in myself,
so that I am able to smash all the stereotypes my society holds and drive home the message that being a wife is NOT on my agenda to become a successful
person in life. Although my bitchiness still needs a few touch-ups
here and there, it allowed me to leave my home country, live alone for
four years, and obtain a doctorate degree. Pretty soon I will be able to
go home and teach all girls and women that Heartless Bitchiness is the
way to go!
