I don't suffer fools gladly. I tolerate whining for approximately five minutes before I ask the whiner to please take it elsewhere. I have a shoulder to cry on, but I reserve that for my friends--NOT for any drunk or otherwise impaired individual who thinks all women are nurturing and desperately want to take care of someone who is on the verge of puking their guts out and crying for their mommy. I have a good sex life but if I don't want to sleep with someone, I am NOT going to sleep with them--no matter how much they try to guilt-trip me into it or manipulate me. I won't be used by anybody. I take care of myself and don't ask anyone to step in and help me deal with life; while I am a good friend, I let everyone know that there isn't much I can do to help them deal with their life, either. I prefer to greet people with a smile if I can, but I won't stand around and let someone be rude to me without speaking my mind.
