I've been studying European Martial Arts for most of my life, and I cannot stand the stereotype that women did not fight. Yes, they did, and they fought damn well as a matter of fact. I also study weapons and their history. Getting shown to the jewelry counter in a blade store makes me want to shove a blade in someone's eye socket. Women that take fencing or sparring classes to meet men instead of learning the discipline and men who go "Chick with sword, Cool" also trigger that automatic response to make them stop talking. I can take a hit and I can dish them out.
