"Casual relationships," you know the kind where you go out once in a
while and don't talk to the person every day on the phone. If we have
plans for Saturday I will call on Thursday or Friday to confirm--you
don't have to call Monday through Friday unless you are trying to piss
me off. When I say that you will not meet my daughter unless this is a
relationship that is going somewhere, I mean it! Two weeks does not
classify as long term, and I am not bringing my daughter out to dinner
with us because you want to see me, I'll see you next weekend as
planned.
The stereotype is that it's the women who hound the men and harass them
with phone calls. I think I intimidate men by giving them what they
think that they want--a noncommitted relationship. Just more proof that
men don't have clue what they want and don't know what to do when they
get it.
