In another *lifetime*, I was a true victim of men. I used my body to get drugs and money. It almost killed me and I was in many abusive relationships. In 1986 I got clean and rebuilt my life. I'm 37 years old and returned back to college to become an art director in advertising. In the last year I have won 2 scholarships, a kick-ass internship at an ad agency, and I just got offered a kickin' position at the ad agency I'm interning at as a Jr. Art Director for the interactive media department! I even came up with a decent size salary range and they met my offer.

One of the reasons they hired me into this position was because of my assertiveness. I AM NO LONGER A VICTIM. I'm married and love my husband and have many male friends, some of whom are my mentors. So I'm not into male bashing! I have twin boys who I'm raising to teach them about the equalities that exist between males and females. I'd love to become part of this membership.
