1. I refuse to coddle people, especially spineless women who refuse to accept reality.
2. I refuse to allow any man or woman to stop me from doing what I want to do.
3. I make my rules.
4. I have no problem with expressing myself.
5. I define my interests by my desires, not what the media or the society tells me to accept.
In reality, the term Heartless Bitch has been given to me more than I've chosen it - but now I don't mind it. I work in an industry dominated by men (internet sports) and I refuse to defer to anyone's judgement. So my "normal" behavior seems too assertive in cases. It is about force of will and I have no problem accepting that.
I dated a lot of losers but I wised up and figured out it was my fault for letting them treat me that way. I got my life together and met a great guy. My husband shares the load totally and treats me as an equal.
I think people consider me a bitch because when they come to me with their woes, I give them a dose of reality. A lot of people don't want reality, they want someone to coddle and make it all better. Did he cheat on you? LEAVE HIM. Does your job suck? QUIT and get a better one.
This is our life, one time around only. If you don't make it yours and make you happy, then why are you on this ride?
