I basically share the feeling of being fed-up, alienated, disgusted, etc. by the vast majority of my species, i.e. the near-primal ape culture of grunting, ball-scratching jock posers and the mindless mannequin women who follow them on some invisible leash of learned co-dependency. I like to think of myself as a hard-core misanthrope, but I know I don't have the stamina for it. I basically keep myself sane by seeking out the few people in my surroundings that are intelligent, independent individuals with that rare sense of awareness and otherness that makes them as miserable and as bitter as me.
