I am a Heartless Bitch because I have never tolerated bullies in any shape or form. It all began when I broke the school bully's nose with my lunchbox in grade one because he told me to "give [him] forty, or else". I have continued to refuse to accept the tyranny of ignorance to this day, taking many gender studies courses on my way to medical school, refusing to deprive myself of food in the hopes of being a size two, and correcting obnoxious come-ons with acerbic come backs. I refuse to play down my intelligence or my looks in order to make other people feel more comfortable, anyone who really wants to be my friend will have to accept me for who I am, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
