and Damned Proud of it!

I am tired of hearing women whine about how the media portrays women as sex objects with unobtainable bodies. Instead of just whining they need to get out and DO something about it! Write a letter to the offending company refusing to patronize their services until they change their advertisements or whatever may be offensive.
I am also annoyed at meeting women who feel they need a relationship to make themselves a "whole" person. Since when did relationships automatically equate to happiness? No one can be happy with anyone unless they are comfortable with themselves.
Furthermore, I am sickened by anyone who tells me to go and "return to where I belong" with the implication that where I belong is in the kitchen taking care of my "man". I am perfectly capable in my field, and have never needed anyone to provide for me. I therefore do not wish to be taken care of, nor take care of anyone.
I spit on anyone who tries to hold me down, tells me I am never going to be good enough, or attempt to diminish who I am and what I stand for. I have a strong mind and can reach whatever goals I attempt.
