Compelling evidence that I am a Heartless Bitch:

I was told by one of my managers that my co-workers were afraid of me. The same manager met my husband with a hearty handshake, saying he was glad to meet the man brave enough to live with me. Oops!! I forgot to have children! (What? No grandchildren? How selfish!) Hecate and The Morrigan are the Goddesses I choose to worship: Look 'em up - these are no love-and-light-New-Age-fluffy-huggy Goddesses. I am a workers' compensation claims adjuster and I have to listen to the "I'm a victim" crap all day. Any plaintiff attorney would be happy to nominate me for the HB title. In junior high, I threw a snake on a cheerleader during P.E., causing the HB teacher to have to choke back a laugh as Miss Thang ran screaming into the building. I refuse to make excuses for myself. I swear loudly and I laugh loudly. I am a large woman and I will take up all of the space my abundant body requires. People used to worship women built like me. My father told me that I should not belch or fart because "Ladies don't do that." Personally, I think he was jealous.
