I am so damn glad to have found this place! So many times I have found myself in a room or a meeting or even a conversation and had the revelation that I was the smartest person in the room because I was the only one with a clue. It can make you crazy. But Heartless Bitches don't go crazy, they just go on being and doing what ever it is they are. Of course, that usually means a fight of some sort. But Heartless Bitches do not shrink from a fight because life is a fight from the moment you are born. To get on with the business of living, you have to get on with the business of fighting, or you will lose your self-respect and life will stamp on you like a squashed bug. I am at war with the powers that try to make intelligent humans into mindless zombies that give up their own intelligence and dignity to look "pretty," to have a man (or a woman), or to "get along". If you get in trouble and piss people off, then you are probably doing something right. I have turned the tables on professors and cops who have tried to throw their very limited power around. I have dumped friends, romantic and platonic, because they had become emotional vampires. I have been told that my anger does not make me "attractive". Those people miss the point. I am not necessarily angry; but if I am, so what? Anger is a rebellion against societal brainwashing, against intentionally cultivated stupidity. It is about justice. It is not to "catch a man" as if THAT were some noble goal. The more of a Heartless Bitch I become, the better and more interesting my corner of the world becomes. Bitchiness is Power. And for those Heartless Bitches in training, in the word of my roommate, the Heartless Bitch AEB, "Fake it 'til its real!"
