About a year or so ago, a good (male) friend of mine was in my self defense class at school. He would NOT STOP FLIRTING with me, even though we were only friends and he had a girl friend. Finally, I had had enough. I established a hands-off rule ( as in, HE keeps his hands off of ME). That rule has been in place for about a year, and now we are even better friends because of it. I am absolutely sick of people who treat guys like gods ( hello, they're only people too. Maybe they are really hot, but they all have their flaws). I cannot stand people who go out with guys just so they can feel like "a somebody." If they'd wake up and realize it, they already are a somebody. Furthermore, if a guy flirts with you and you laugh and giggle and occasionally say "no," they think it means "yes." I have put my Hands-0ff Rule in place with all of my other guy friends and they respect me and it works just great. My attitude is, if I like some guy, I'll pursue a relationship with him, and THEN he can have his hands on me.
