I don't stand for abuse and I will defend myself, physically or otherwise, if I feel like I need to.

I won't shut up and get back in the kitchen just because it's not 'ladylike' to tell a man he's wrong.

I refuse to buy into the trite gimmicks sold to girls my age: that everyone's 'special' somehow, that everyone's going to find their Prince Charming and live happily ever after in a McMansion, that sleeping around is the best way to prove you're 'sexy' or 'hot'.

I'm completely unashamed about being bisexual and I refuse to be cast as a drunken, whorish hard-partier just because I enjoy rabid make-out sessions with other women.

I love to be loved but I refuse to be used, and if I feel like someone isn't respecting me, I'm going to come out and tell them exactly how I feel they're treating me.

I don't follow the crowd. I don't drink or do drugs, and I'm celibate, but I refuse to become arrogant about it or act like a 'goody-two-shoes', like my choices in life are better than anyone else's.
