I just kicked a useless Nice Guy to the curb. He was everything you described -- passive, humorless, insecure, and made me do all the work under the thinly veiled excuse that it was "respecting my autonomy." I finally got sick of his major contribution in the bedroom being empty coke cans and dirty tube socks on the floor.

I'm sick of feeling like I have to apologize for everything I say and do. I have standards. I have limits. I don't want to carry dead weight and I'm not ever going to apologize for any of that ever again. I am ready to be a Heartless Bitch because coming up with excuses for losers who won't man up and bring some substance to the table isn't going to do anything for me.
