I work at a fire dept. I deal with all manner of stupidity from the public, my pet peeves are the length some women will do to in order to get a gaggle of men to "help" them. I have little tolerance for the way some people act and don't mind telling them, (someone has to, right?). The public in general believes they no longer have to solve their own mundane problems, that there has to be someone, government or otherwise, that gets paid to do it for them. This stupidity is so ingrained in people that even during times of crisis they cannot think logically, or individually to assist in solving the problem or at least helping the situation along.
