There are two kinds of people in the world, victims and victors, I decided a long time ago that I would be a victor, and that's what I've done. I'm not afraid to do what it takes to better myself. I refuse to pout in the corner because life is "too hard." I decided at 25 that I should go back to school and get my degree and I did, and I did it well. This meant dropping the needy people in my life that only held me back, and focusing on me. I felt like I deserved a certain kind of man, (a good one of course) and I didn't settle for fear of being a "cat lady." I'm now happily engaged. Maybe these things don't sound like Heartless Bitch qualities, but I was perceived as one quite a bit because I was driven and focused on my goals and I didn't let certain people drag me down.
