I'm a Heartless Bitch because:

1) I believe that nice doesn't mean weak and kindness doesn't mean push-over.

2) I'd rather be lonely because I'm alone than be lonely because I'm being ignored (or worse).

3) Honesty really is the best policy, though not an excuse for bad manners or cruelty.

4) With me, what you see is what you get, so if you don't like what you see in me, don't look (your approval is not required).

5) You had a crappy childhood? Yeah, well, so did I. Life is hard on everybody, none of us get out alive. Deal with it.

6) I don't need a man to take care of me. I don't need a man to support me (financially). I need a man that's ready to be a companion and secure enough in his own identity not to be threatened or intimidated by mine. Loving someone shouldn't hurt, nor should it require the forfeiture of your own identity.

7) The past only has power in my present if I let it; I strive not to.

8) I'll only reference PMS to point out that the "P" stands for permanent.
