"He said - she said" games make me nuts. The office rumor mill, the ultimate breeding ground for this shit has a tendency to bring out my Heartless Bitch the most. My co-workers usually learn the hard way when they try to include me in this, especially when it concerns someone's job performance, as I will address it at my staff meetings as a group discussion. The sheer look of horror as someone is made accountable for their comments and gossiping, which more times than not was simply an attempt to draw attention away from their own shortcomings, is usually enough for me to be excluded the next time. I am not perfect and do not claim to be, but when I make a mistake I have the balls to stand up and say I did it...how do we fix it? I don't blame others and I don't talk behind their back.
