I have a husband, but he is not my whole life. I married young but I
did not marry to feel whole. I have my own friends, a job, and I pay for my own
education. I do not need my husband, I just want him.
I hate when people ask why I do not have children. It is as if they believe
that a woman's purpose is only to bear children. I may never have kids, and
nobody better question it.
I do not bullshit. I say what I think or feel. It may sting, but it is the
truth as I see it. If you don't like it, don't fucking listen.
I am who I am. I will not hide any part of myself simply because my flaws
may offend someone. It is not my job to please others. If they can't handle it,
they can move on.
I make it a point to know what is going on in the world. I have no sympathy
for those who choose ignorance. If you can not carry on a decent conversation
without petty personal references, then I have no desire to speak to you EVER
again.
I am compassionate to those who deserve it. I am indifferent to those who
choose to be victims for the attention or whatever else drives them to put up
with bullshit.
I am sick of women treating other women as the enemy. I do not feel
threatened by a woman who is more beautiful, successful, or intelligent than me.
I am not jealous. I do not care if my husband has female friends.
