I'm a Heartless Bitch because I don't put up with nonsense in any way, shape, or form. I was raised by a mother with her own job and a mouth like a construction worker, and some of that may have rubbed off on me. I've been chasing boys since the age of five, but when they don't reciprocate, I move on, baby. (I remember telling a fellow first grader that we were so through--he probably didn't even know we were dating.)

In high school, I didn't go for the "you have to have a perfect GPA" bullshit--I took classes that interested me and did as well as I felt like doing. I focused on putting out my tabloid, a single-sheet newspaper that held only fake news ("Local Woman Bakes Miraculous Tortilla in Shape of Tortilla.") I got into "prestigious" colleges, but went to art school because it sounded like more fun.

And after years of searching, I found my very own Heartless Bastard, a guy I've known since I was a kid. While I'm sure I can live without him (I do most of the time, since we live two hours apart), I'm glad to have him around. It's rare you get great sex and a good sense of humor from one human being.
