If it stinks, I will tell you it does: I don't believe in being
politically correct to spare your feelings if that's keeping you from realizing
that you have a real problem.
If you're whining without cause, I will tell you so. I will _not_ offer you
a sympathetic ear that'll listen to you the umpteen number of times you feel
sorry for yourself over what happened in 8th grade - either you give the advice
I dish out some thought and be proactive, or take your troubles
elsewhere.
I have a serious problem with people who think 'dis iz kewl l1ngo!' - if
you're expected to write something, follow the basic rules of going about
it.
There's a _huge_ difference between being polite and being a walkover: if
you're not on the right side of the line, I will not hesitate to tell you so,
and no, I don't care if you detest me for telling you that, or detest me for not
caring that you do.
I don't swear much, and I don't want to hear you say it a zillion times
because you think it sounds fucking cool. If I feel the need to, I will, and I
don't force it on your otherwise - give me the same respect.
I have a very healthy, equal-footed relationship in which we respect each
other and trust one another implicitly. I can only take so much of 'I don't
think he respects me blah blah whine puke' before I lose it.
Sure, I'm awfully nit-picky about how things are spelled and punctuated,
I'm quite particular about how my stuff is arranged, and I don't care for people
who use their circumstances as lame excuses for their failures. If that doesn't
qualify me here, hey, it's your loss.
