So I've been abused, dumped, cheated on, blah blah blah. Everybody has a
sob story. I also joined the Marines; raised awesome children on my own; and
refused to be broken. I like being in charge of my life, my emotions, and not
giving a fuck what anyone else thinks - all while being sweet as a Georgia
peach. I can tell anyone to fuck off with a smile on my face.
I live by 2 philosophies:
1. Never waste your time on people with nothing to offer you (I don't mean
material things...unless you can get those too! I mean a person who is
AUTHENTIC, and really has something to say or will be true to the quid-pro-quo
of friendship. Admittedly, this doesn't happen that often.)
2. Never spend time with anyone who doesn't make you feel BETTER for having
been around them.
I refuse to let anyone else change my perception of anything, especially my
perception of ME.
