I'm a Heartless Bitch because, although I am not insensitive to the
emotional suffering of others, I refuse to turn into some random dude's
"emotional tampon" after they decide that I have nothing better to do than
listen to them whine and complain about their problems and their sad, sad lives
(and after any suggestion from my part seems to be taken as an insult rather
than a genuine attempt to help!). Furthermore, I consider myself a Heartless
Bitch because I won't tolerate any guilt-trips that originate from my decided
lack of interest in being anyone's personal Dr. Phil. Neither will I tolerate
being treated in any way that makes me feel uncomfortable and will not hesitate
to shut the door in the face of anyone that tries to impose themselves on me.
I'm a Heartless Bitch because I make an effort to look nice, not because I
am hoping to impress anyone, but because it pleases me, and the moment it stops
being fun is the moment it stops altogether.
I'm a Heartless Bitch because I don't consider "you're pretty" as a genuine
compliment. I am much more than a "pretty girl" and won't be impressed if that's
all you can come up with.
